Hmm... I've never seen one. But, perhaps you could do a seach on youtube. If there is such a beast, then somebody has probably videoed it.
I would have to wonder how the unibody would hold up to the weight and torque. But, I saw a video of a cherokee with a strong running 350, turning some serious numbers on the track, so if it holds that, a 4bt may be fine...

I have seen a couple 4bts for sale on C's List.
...in regards to the 4bt in the cherokee, I would think a dana 44 swap in the front would be in order. The stock dana 30s have a hard enough time with the 4.0L and a set of 33s.

A lot of Frito trucks and bread trucks ran them. A contractor that I work for has one in a forklift. They are around. Some have turbos, and others don't.
Look around on the Quadratrac forum. Lots of info on 4bt's in jeeps, there.

Do a search at http://www.4btswaps.com/forum/index.php

If someone's done it, it's probably on there.

I did some measuring on mine a while back , and came to the conclusion that ~10in of lift would be needed to be able to close the hood, and clear the oil pan with the axle.

In addition, you would need to cut the firewall or modify the front end to allow for length. Also the front end may have to be beefed up since I believe the BT3.9 weighs more than the 4.0 gasser.

I am slowly working on a Cummins B3.3 1990 Cherokee conversion. I still had to install a lift to clear the front axle. I am awaiting better weather to finish the front end and manufacture motor mounts.

I am not saying the BT3.9 can't be done, but it is more work.
