Diesel in a Grand Cherokee?
anyone heard any rumors on this? Seems like the engine in the MB E-320 would be a good fit.

The Grand Cherokee in Europe is already available with the 2.7L I5 CRD. It's same engine used in the Freightliner Sprinter van.

What are the numbers for that engine?

I think it's around 165hp and 290ft lb torque.
