2000 superduty 12v swap in progress

I have a 2000 superduty crew cab 4x4 with 410 gears and 33x12.50 tires .
I took the 5.4 ,4r100 AND TRANSFER CASE out of it 2 nights ago .
I found a 96 dodge 3500 w/120k miles in a salvage that was 4x4 and automatic. i bought the motor, trans, and transfer case and all of the wiring and computer for $1500 .... Im planning on haveing it running and driving by monday. my plan is to use my ford alt. and a/c compressor and use the dodge transmission and T-case . I found a new 6.0 Powerjoke intercooler for $75 bucks on craigslist and swooped it up so ill use it . I hope it all goes in as easy as i think it will im planning on finding a set of 07 and up GMC electric fans for it, the reason for that is my bestfriend has a new 1/2 ton GMC and the electric fans are unreal they move a massive amount of air , i was extreamly impressed with them .

ok this is amazing the truck got 9 mpg with the 5.4 it would go 200 miles on a full tank . now with the 12v cummins the fuel gauge bearly moves in 200 miles its awsome .. the 48re transmission is controled by the the computer out of the dodge. The wiring is real simple to make it happen, ill post wiring diagrams and show which wires must be hooked up to make the electronic transmission work . this total swap took 1 week to complete and that was working on it for about 2 hours a day . I have $1700 in the complete swap . I figure ill save that much in fuel this summer and have tons of power . I fabricated all of the mounts . and using stock fuel lines . I deleted the in tank fuel pump and put a straght peice oc stainless line in the place of it . ill try to get some pics up on here asap . for some reason the other times iv tryed postng them they didnt work...

lol i like to see peoples faces when they here it . everyone knows the diff in the sound of it and a powerjoke lol. i have a potential torque converter problem . it seems like it has a huge stall in it until i shift to OD and the converter locks then it pulls down the motor and starts getting it pulling real hard .. is there a way to adjust it to slip alot less. I have a converter switch but it shifts prematurely through the gears OD at 30MPH dont cut it lol.

ok thanks man I just didnt know how it was supposed to feel . another issue with it is when i lock the converter via the switch it will not unlock when i turn the switch off. I have to put it in neutral and kill the truck and restart it to unlock it ...

Woo hoo I just checked the fuel milage and it was 17.3 mpg 50% highway but it will get better cause I have a pretty bad fuel leak I can't locate the fuel is dripping off of the bottom of the lift pump and the oring ir good on it , it may be comming from above it .... It sure beats 9mpg and a gutless motor :-)

on the power steering i cut the tube going from the pump to the steering gear box on the ford and the cummins and welded the ford hose to the cummins hose then pressure tested it with 150psi of air, it works great and the return side i just connectied the ford line to it it goes right on .
