I had to have the centers milled out to fit over the hubs

the were milled to just shy of 5"

other then that they fit great and bolt right on

Those look great. I kinda wish I had not sold mine. I milled my own with a carbide flush-trim bit with a top bearing in my router. The bearing rides the shoulder on the backside of the hole. I didn't even take the tires off.

yes pretty much everything bolted right up minus the transmission mount. I had to fab a new mount for mine and I know others have had to do the same.

Count on making custom Driveshaft and modifying the carrier bearing support or crossmember. You will also drill two wholes in the frame to bolt in the skid plate. Other than that fairly bolt up. Fenders and firewall will be drilled for various stuff.

FYI: I did not have to change carrier bearing support on my truck it bolted right up.

I did have to modify rear section of driveshaft

I used a carrier bearing and front shaft out of a second gen. I unbolted the mounting plate and moved it to the bottom of crossmember. The carrier bearing from the second gen sat a little higher and made a positive angle coming out of the t case. I will let you all know if this works out going down the road.

Could you post up some pics of your drive shaft configuration. What did you use for the rear section of the 2 piece drive shaft?

Mine is cobbled together...as well as my tranny mount. I really want to get things back to the way they should be.

my guess would be loose wires out side of tank or sending unit inside tank came loose and is not working correct.

Bruiser, do you know if the stock motor mounts and mount location for the 84 360 gasser will work for a CTD swap? Or will I have to relocate the brackets. It has the correct 5spd for the swap. And do you know if the cummins has a bigger flywheel or not? And would the PTO on the trans hinder anything?

the stock location is the same on gas and diesel engines for motor mounts. the transmission cross-member location are different and you need to either make your own like i did or move the stock cross-member.

my PTO area was wide open on my swap
