what about this setup!

i am wanting to get in to sled pulling and would like to know what the guys on here that pull alot think about my setup and if it will hold up. F.A.S.S. , 370 injectors , #10 fuel plate , southbend clutch dyna max mu 13-1.25 con fe , 3000rpm gsk , on the 97 in my sig. Is this enough or do i need more. If its possible could anybody tell me how much hp i would be putting out.

FASS

never heard of that on a 12V... Is say your setup is great, but your fuel plate will be your limiting factor.. go with a zero or a 100, PM northslope for those.... Wicked work man! just check the classifieds under powerups for second gens..

Anyways from my understanding, 370s add about 60RWHP or so, and a ten plate will put you up there at 330/750, so you should be close to the 400 rwhp mark with ur sig, and the GSK distributes the power nicely,

Just for a base, my truck (slippin clutch afterward) dynoed 376/902 with a zero plate full forward and remnants of a banks powerpack with stock injectors mind you.... (IE muffler) and a BHAF (which was also borrowed, thanks David!)the zero has no defueling on it whatsoever and is merciless on turbo and smoke. he he he he he not to mention the clutch

Clutch... well if your truck is a Daily driver, that southbend is nice, but if you are gonna hook constantly, it is best you get a dual disk setup... but that con fe is nice...

ON EDIT it does not hurt either to have your rig timed as well to more efficiently burn that extra fuel you are adding and get more ponies outta the engine in the process... Also try a BHAF or a scotty... currently i run the stock Balwin air filter, K&N was letting little steel chunks into my turbo, and i have a choice.. pay for school, or get BOMBS...

Best of luck and hope this helps..

Tx

From what I understand, you won't need the FASS on a 12v until about 650-700hp.

If you are serious get the 4K GSK and valve springs. I have dynoed over 500 HP at least 4 or 5 times with a #10 plate, and know of others that have been higher. For me the defueling at the top end just helped reduce the excess smoke above 3,000 RPM.
