Even after I added my traction bars and suspension blocks, the Ford that I have to pull against still owned me. I'm starting to think I'm not using all the power the engine is putting out either. I only get 22psi of boost and the truck doesnt smoke at all. Can any body tell me if Hi 2nd is slower than Low 4th in a 5spd. but anyway here are the vids.

4th low is faster than 2 high looks like you need slide your hitch up under the truck some more. find a more agressive chip for it too.

 

I have all the power I need I just cant get it to the ground. cause the clutch is the weak point I think. Or I'm just being to easy on it.

if you are getting beat you dont have enough power unless you are doing it for fun. haisley machine wins pulls because they have trucks set up right and they also happen to have like 1400hp. guys that win around here have tons of mods

 

If all you have is stage 2 injectors and a power puck you dont have near enough power to be pulling it 2hi or 4th low. You should be in 3rd low.

 

exactly you need at least 500 to pull 2nd high

 

Is low 3rd faster than hi 1st cause thats what gear I pull in.

u need more power if that 6.0 beats you that bad!

 

you need to save money and put in a DD from SB or when Valair comes out with theres get the bigger input shaft
get a redline or edge drag comp with the smarty and you will be closer to the power you need

The Ford has a 120hp box. Ill try low 3rd the next time I pull. As for the clutch I should have a different one by next year, I havent decided if it will be a SB or Valair. I'll probably go with stage 4-5 injectors and a bigger charger next year also.

You already made one mistake with a clutch dont make a second....
Go with the South bend.
