yes, i barely make weight.
here is my run from saturday night in the 8500 modified diesel pickup class. it was just me and Lynn Chupp, he won. i pulled a measley 238.38' on a 4th low run, instead of 2nd high. the turnout of spectators was ok. Buck showed up sat night about 8:30, after we had already pulled.

I was there....busted up the M again....lifted the head and blew the rubber off the Flatout gasket. Radiator survived this time . I have studs, a new gasket and a new carb on the way. It was clear the factory studs failed this time.

The pull ran well, but was thin on equipment for the TTPA diesel truck class.

That's a bummer on the M.. maybe too much boost.. haha... What class did you pull in???
On the trucks there was another event the same day.. Diesel Drags at the motorplex.. and I didn't see any threads.. or recent posts about the event...

Yeah, It is a little high for gas, but 35psi on race fuel is not unheard of....figure I should be able to manage 25. Of course it makes the boost, but the engine then pukes when it gets there

Hopefully next pull it will be better. I am gonna jet it pig rich, pull some timing and hope for black smoke . Then we will ease up on a tune from there. I have a video of the hook and after watching it about 10 times it is clear the popping is lean pop rather than my rev limiter.

You coming to S'ville in two weeks? Maybe you can see me water the track again.

It is not a TTTPA pull....just antiques. I am sure they will have a diesel truck class at the end time permitting. I hope to lay it down instead of having the tractor lay down on me

Any\d maybe finish a pull with out getting wet... J/K...
I am planning on being at Stephenville.. I don't think Cody will bring his truck.. I will be in Mt. Calm the next weekend.. its only 15 from the house.. If Cody is in town, he'll probably take his truck... It has NOT (had to Edit that in..) changed from last year.. (still has the same tank of diesel in it.. haha.. )

There was more on the Motorplex on the CompD forum...
