I have a blue extended cab Dodge 3/4 ton. A couple of us from up my way were thinking about coming down to check it out but not sure if were are going to pull. We are sponsoring a pull saturday in Rural Retreat, Va and don't wanna tear anything up before then. That wouldn't look to good on me now would it!

Oh come on now, there are a few dodges down there now. At least three or more most times. Plus the three regulars that show up usually take the top spots, I'm sure that eats away at those ford boys.

I dunno know..... I am pretty happy with my dodge right now though. I have alittle more tweaking to do on it. One of my buds from Yadkinville brought a truck up that he had been working on to pull and me and him were 1st and 2nd at the end on the 7500 and 8000. I was always lagging about 6-8 feet behind though, but he was dodge too! Can't complain it was a tough truck. I started working on my truck less than a year ago and that was my first pull. I am going try for 1st this time but we advertised alittle more for this up coming pull and I'm sure there will be alot more competition so I gotta stay on my toes!

DieselUnlimited, that would be one heck of a drive for you, the pull is near the coast. I'd love to make it to your pull, but it would be one long drive there, and a long drive back home.

Hopefully Scott will show up in that green bad-boy dodge

That's the only bad thing you drive so far for any pulls around here. At least they are picking up and hopefully there will be more choices down the road. Well, good luck to you if you get to pull. Let me know how it turns out!

The truck pull was pretty good, I went both nights. They allowed stock trucks to pull on Friday night, and it was $60 to pull. Freaking crazy. Its normally $10 to pull stock on a regular night, they claimed the rest of the $50 was for insurance. The only diesel that pulled was one of my friends ferds, he did ok, but they needed more weight on the sled, a totally stock f-150 pulled almost the same distance he did, and he has a couple of chips on the truck.

All in all, a good time. Saturday night ended early, around 12 or so(dont remember). Friday it ended nearly the same time, just a little bit later. More people showed up Saturday night, not many people were there on Friday night. I met 2-Stroke over there on Friday night, and checked out his truck, and talked to him some. It was cool meeting somebody from here that drives a CTD.

Sounds like you had fun, I was going to go, but they told me on the phone that no stock trucks would be able to pull. I will be there on the 22nd. I hope to see some of you guys there.
