i bet a really wise person said that to you didn't he??? anyway, all last year i kept beating a 12.90 1/4 mile ferd in the truck pulls by 12-27' everytime. all i had was an edge comp on my 01. block your rearend, hang your weights but don't let the end of the weights go past 60" from centerline of your front end. tires i have had excelent luck with cooper discover ST and super swamper TRXus A/T. that second tire is a heck of a tire from personal experience. i'd say more since you're so far away but i have a competetor that has replied to you. i'm not mentioning names but i quoted him. and if all else fails 4LO and ALOT of NO2. then shirt all through your gears.
