Pulling Hitch pics

This is the hitch I made today. I didn't have much time but I think it came out nice. It is made of 3/4" plate.

That eye looks really good! I'm willing to bet the tubing will work for a few hooks, but you will break it eventually. Might want to try and round up some square stock to build a replacement.

I plan to go solid but it is kinda last min. I just used what I had. I did it in about 30min. It will brake the pin first with what I have now so I also plan to go with a 1" pin next time around. Also it dose not hang as far out as it looks. The bumper I made has the pin on the back side of the pipe so there is nothing sticking out when there is no hitch in it. The gusset is right at the end of the hitch. CTD03 There is no such thing as over built, trust me I try when I have time.

I started to use a pintel loop like you but the one I have has 4 bolts and goes on a large plate not in the chanle like yours. It looks good. Nice welds. Lot less work than mine to. Mine will work for this year but i plan to make a realy nice one soon I just used what i had around. I will have to make a new bumper to do what I want to do. The one I have now is to low becose I use to pull a big trailer all the time and didn't want a big drop hitch but now I dont care.
