pulling?

im new to pulling and i plan on hookin up in a couple days, so can i get some advice? ive got an auto so i was thinking 4 low in 2nd gear. would that do good or does anyone know what range and gear i should be in with an auto?

If you don't have a lockup clutch switch...INSTALL ONE!!! As soon as you hook up to the sled and put it in D, flip the switch, just make sure you turn it off when you get to the end of your run, and keep your foot to the floor, otherwise its likely to shift all the way to 3rd before you want it too. Again, lock O/D out.

I pull in 2nd low range unless the track is REALLY loose! But my GB tranny locks up in 2nd too....
