Is anyone planning on pullin at Scheids this year and what class are you going to be in? JUst want to see if anyone will compete and see how they do. Plan on seeing some of you at the Ramada in the burnout pit and then at Denny's sat. morning if I make it up that early.

DHRA isnt doing the pull at scheid this year. On the site it says that the rules are the same as DHRA but they have made some modifications. The following was taken directly from scheids site.

Rule Modifications for Pick-up truck pulls at Diesel Extravaganza 2007
Work Stock trucks
Turbo
The vehicle is limited to a single turbocharger; the inducer bore on the compressor housing may be no larger than 2.5 inches measured at the smallest diameter area of the compressor wheel. A bushing may be used to downsize the compressor housing ahead of the wheel. If a bushing is used, it must be round, at least 3/4 inch long, mounted within 0.050 inch of the compressor wheel, and the inside diameter of the bushing may not exceed the 2.5 inch limit. If you have any questions regarding the construction of a bushing, contact Scheid Diesel Service. The inlet will be measured using a 2.55 inch plug. A stock map width enhancement (MWE) groove is allowed. No MWE groove will be allowed that has a width greater than 1/4 inch. All provisions allowing air to the wheel other than via the bore and the MWE groove are prohibited.

Street Diesel trucks

There will be no limit on RPM

It sounds like they are combining the two lower classes into one. So if you dont have at least 550ish hp, stay in the stands?

Pretty much. A lot of the trucks in the 2.5 class are around 500hp, some around 550 or a little more.

i thought the work stock had to be a stock charger???? so this would mean i could get into the work stock class.... maybe my pile of dog *&*** truck could hang with them a little more better..... yeah and pigs would fly outa my butt. so you can run a tiny bit bigger than stock... that's cool.
