If I'm not mistaken the cover charge is $6 dollars??. To pull is $25 hook fee. There is a fair going on the same time as the pull in the park.
A friend of mine, Ed wanted me to ride down with him to Elizabeth City this weekend but I got alot of stuff going on and don't think I'm gonna make it.
Oh, yes the good ole "Fiddlers Convention". It is huge every year and only getting bigger. Plus with the flea market during Labor Day it's crazy. I don't even travel any where near it if at all possible.

 

Thanks. Will have to talk to the other half and see if she is willing to make the trip. Mapquest is giving me the wrong route and sending to Raliegh NC rather than straight across 58. How long do ya think it would take to make the run from Elizabeth city to Galax?

 

Just guessing....um....around 5 hours! And again it depends on how you go and with traffic because of the 4th. But I would say some where around that.

 

This was a great pull!! it was the first one my wife went to and now she wants to go to more..... I have many good picts so it you were in the pull describe your truck and I will email you any I have of your truck. Diesel Unlimited how many trucks do you have??? I seen at least 4 with that sticker on the back at the Galax pull?? Oh yea.... that "Lets Roll" was putting down some good numbers!

 

I am with Diesels Unlimited as well, I just dont have a sticker. There wer a total of about 10 diesels unlimited's truck competing. If you got any of mine (like below) email em to me at diesellugger(at)yahoo.com

I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I had a blast and can't wait until we can put another pull together.

Alot of those "Diesels Unlimited" stickers are trucks that we have worked on and supporting friends.

I just sent you 3 picts, I remember your truck, you hooked up better than any of the other trucks - you weren't digging or throwing alot of dirt on the sled, it looked like you were driving to grandmas house, I thought you were gonna just drive past the last markers and into the staging area - then the "pop of death" U joint gave way - I hated it for ya.

 

Yea, it was running good and then POP goes the U-joint. Thanks for the pictures, I saved them.

 

Yep, that was mine. I have the road armor bumper that is painted to match the truck.
