just out of curiosity what gear did you pull in? this was the first time i pulled in 4th/4low because the track looked like it would grip pretty well, but i wonder if more wheel speed in 2nd/4hi would have done better.
Higher gear? No! Seriously I thought you had a great pull. You have a stout running truck. Maybe one day mine will run decent enough to pull

No one has said much, but I dynoed my truck and won the dyno event with 1113hp and 1992 torque.I wanted it to be higher but when we went to dyno again on saturday we realized the fass had quit.I fixed the pump and tried to make a pass.I launched the truck pretty hard and blew the compressor housing off right past the 330' mark.Truck ran 12.50 at 80mph.Maybe Ill have better luck in few weeks when I go back to the track. For the record my truck now holds the record for Dunbars dyno.

Awesome numbers RC. I think your sig pretty much sums your truck up.

COOL! I knew when we were talking you dynoed over 1100, but I didn't know it was a record! Congrats RC!

Good luck with the next run once you get it fixed!

Hey Chris, did you ever make a pass in your truck without the throttle linkage coming off? I only saw you make that one pass because I had just gotten there. If so, what did you run?

I ran a 16.9 in 2wd on my first pass...I was watching the other guy trying to do what he was doing, and forgot to slip the lever in

Then I cut a better light and a little better 60' and ran to a 16.09.

Then I cut a better light and a 2.0 second 60' time and the throttle linkage came off. I probably should have kept running, but I couldn't fix it right, and didn't want to make it any worse for the ride home!

My 19.5's were killing me out of the hole, but my race tires didn't come in time Expect better by Indy...if I don't make 500hp out there I will be IRATE!

Chris

BTW, to help me save a little face, this was my first time ever on the track...I made lots of rookie mistakes I need to practice a lot

Sig I had a view vids of your truck, including your coasting run!! Ha! jk your truck wasn't sounding too healthy, at least not what i'm using to hearing them sound like.

I was running consistent 2.0X 60ft times leaving with 10psi. It was so hot it couldnt have been helping anything. I think on a good cool night I could run high 14's. I did run a new best of 15.02@87mph though

Cool, so my 2.006 60' wasn't terrible considering my heavy truck and tall tires...I have no idea boost I was launching at, this Garrett is either all or none. I was bringing the RPM up to about 22-2300RPM and going from there!

I think with my shorter tires I could have been a good half second faster...we'll see. I'm hoping to do some more racing before IRP/ORP and try to find a decent way to launch!

Anybody happen to have a video of a Green/Silver Dodge with a single stack pulling in the Street Class? I was one of the last pullers in the class and would like to see it.

Thanks,

Rodney
