New Record 11.3 @ 117
New Record 11.3 @ 117
I saw a new record set today at MIR. NGM went 11.3 @ 117 in their stock frame c/r street truck. the event got rained out before it was over, they made 3 passes 11.9, 11.6, and 11.3 that truck is nasty.
I was there both days. He is spraying and he ran 11.5 on Sun with a big cross wind. Sat. he saw lower times but there was a little bit of tail wind. He had qualified as the top truck in class but didn't stick around to run in the final. Don't know why he left. There was also a D-Max running 11.8's on just #2 diesel. I think if he , the D-max, was to spray some N02 then he would have been the quickest for sure.

I'm getting there... Going a different route changing a few things. Hopefully it will be in mid-lower 11's on fuel when it's done. Trying to round up the money to get it ready... Waiting to hear back from a guy who is going to buy my 66 and chips. (still keeping the bd

wade ran on nitrous on saturday(11.38 @116), on sunday was all diesel
(11.52 @115), he barly had enough to purge on the line to find out that he was empty, but ran anyway. even with traction problems
the amount of NOS he was running on sat was less than 50 hp worth. there was no tail wind on sat, but on sun there was a 30 mph head wind, and he left because he only gets his NOS filled by one place and wanted to do no further damage to his truck before TS. he was running around 1700+ egt's on fuel, mike graves did very well with his d-max, but a far cry from wades truck, NOS or not. had wade had more than 3200 rpm to work with he would have had a much better time slip, he is at 36-3700rpm by the end of the quarter. a good 500 rpm worth of defueling. im very proud of his truck and know it has alot to offer.

Good to hear. Did you get all the timing issues worked out that you were having?
(sorry for going off topic)
Just exactly how did you figure it is less than 50 hp worth of nitrous?
First of all.....just what is 50 hp worth of nitrous?? There is no such thing!!
That is not how it works
Second, from his own mouth.......
it's only a 60 jet and a 40 jet
You guys really do need to understand what you are talking about before making statements that don't make sense
