My First Pull Results

I've always wanted to pull in the county fair since I was a kid. Soooo, this Wednesday I decided what the heck. I pulled in the Stock / Cheater Class, pulled a 253. Not too bad considering the tires have 1/4 inch of tread left. I pulled 4Low with the gear selector in 2nd and tow haul mod on. Truck did great IMO. I was very pleased with the results. The winer pulled 273 and he rolled his truck off a trailer.

Good job, buddy!! I've always wanted to do that, but I'm scared I'd tear my truck up.

Keep it up!

I just wish we had something like this at home so I could give it a whirl.

How do you even start for something like that. You in 4HI or 4LO?

I started in 4 low.. I honestly think I should have started out in 4 high with a good boosted launch. Wheel speed seems to be the trick to this game.

Do you just let the tranny shift itself?

Sure did.. I tried to build a little boost before taking off but the combination of 4 low and a tight tranny, the breaks wouldn't hold..

I bet. Maybe my job will take me up that way one day and I can get to watch ya next time. Maybe embarrass myself with a try too.

What are the classes with that? Im sure there are regulations within each class?

They had a 8000 lbs work / stock class. (None of us exactly meet the requirements. I think all of us were fairly modded)

Also a 2.6 class and a 2.8 class. Those are are the big players.
