If you eventually want an 11 sec truck, don't change your gears. You are going to need 3.54's for the top end of the track.

You are eventually gonna need twins and some NOS for the track if you want to be able to tow with an 11 sec 4x4 2nd gen.

You will have to go down to at least a 285, or run special tires at the track.

I don't think you'll get 11's with that lift, no way in my opinion.

not to sound like a dumbazz, but how does a lift kit affect getting power to the ground? I mean look at maddog, that thing is crazy fast and he is running 35s or better and a lift right? I know he has 1200 or so hp, but still....

You catch alot air with a lift and when your running 100 mph + in the 1/4 every little bit matters.

Similar expirience to 'JDouble'
With my 35's I could not get under 13.10 sec. Bgt used set of Dodge steel 7.5x16 wheels from my tire guy and have tried three different sized tires.
265's are the way to go. Lots of used E rates sets around w/ 5,000+/- miles left on them if you look. Was worth 4/10's on my truck when at 550 hp.
I know 2 11 sec CTD's that also run 265's.

Those wheels and used tires can be found cheap! I just stopped back once a week, for a month, till he had them.
