Theres a guy here on the east cost ( I think his name is Tom Lindsey) that sled pulls in the modified semi class with an old cab over Kenworth with a cummins KT-600. Till he gets to the end of the track, his driverside steer tire is as far off the ground as that pete's, if not higher. If he wasn't strapped in, he'd fall out of his seat! Its truely amazing! He was running a conventional cab kenworth this past season though, I don't know if he still runs the old one.

I don't know if he has a daughter running them, but his wife runs a conventional cab Pete' with a KT-600. Shes got those light posts on the corners of here front bumper that shoot sparklers out of the tips when she takes off down the track.

That's what I was thinking of.
Yeah that rig will haul, too.
And she don't cut it or anybody else no slack.

I saw that truck pull a few times, he rode a wheelie the full length of the track at Reedsville 2 years ago. That guy is flat out crazy!

Yeah, but it really twists up near the end of the track. I don't know what kinda pump and injector work he had done to it, but it used to have a fuel knock so bad, it sounded like a rod was gonna come out thru the block. But man did it run! the past couple years he must have changed it up cause the knock was all but gone. I heard a rumor that he had blown it up while testing a new setup and thats why he was running the other truck. Don't know if theres any truth to it or not.

Wildfire, the cabover with a V12! Detroit will pull the front from about half track. It doesn't twist the frame much, but sure rocks when he revs it.

That Pete amazes me each time I see it.

Were you at Reedsville Valley Fair in 07? I heard the same rumor about his truck, must be true.

No, we usually go to the Buck to see them which is on the opposite side of Lancaster from me. I'd like to get out to some other places this coming season.
