Exclamation Houston, Raymonville, Missouri Pull This Weekend the 22nd

Well we made it. Track looks great ,lets hope for no rain.
I want everyone to come , have fun, and get along. I'm posting a Map of where this place is. Bring your lawn chairs if you can. we are limited on places to sit.
Also I'm am posting rules. Read them, if you do not understand them or have a general question please contact me. My tech guys will be strict so if you want to pull Please do it the right way.
Note: If you want to drink a cold beer I don't care. But put your drinks in a cover cup. If the event Staff have any reason to think your drinking, they will most likely keep you from hooking. So if you want to drink please if your pulling do it after your hook.

Map:http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result.ph...ville+Mo+65555

Directions: If you are driving on south Hwy 63 you will pass a NAPA Store on your left keep going south about 1 mile till you see a caution light. This is B Hwy and F Hwy Make a left. Drive to Raymondville stay on Hwy B. B will take a 90 to the right and then a 90 to the left. Fair grounds will be the first drive to your right, this will be park drive.
Coming north on 63 Hwy or East on 17 Hwy. Go north till you see the caution light, make a right on B Hwy. Then use the same directions as the above.
For some reason my rules will not load. So.
Rules will be DHRA With a 8500lb brake.
Work Stock and Street Stock classes maybe a Super Street if we have the trucks. Also we will have a Hometown Diesel Class for stock trucks only no chips at all in this class.
I will have the rules posted soon.
Thanks Hope to see you there. Coreydr2003

That should take care of that. Read the rules closely because they are not STRAIGHT DHRA rules. As it says thing are recommended but NOT required. The more safety equipment in place the better Corey and them will feel about everything. Hope that helps ya'll!

Yeah, hot chunks of metal flying out of the exhaust will make for a bad hair day.

Sat, have you looked over the rules at all? We want your input on them to see if they seem safe enough to run.

I see I need to install some nozzles...

From a safety standpoint I see no really big problems, I see some changes have been made to allow other trucks to run, it's good you have the rules written out, but water is a key change. I may need to edit some of my previous posts if you guys are going to allow it as not to confuse people.

I know HOOKED had to add a "pie plate" under his fiberglass hood and that was allowed, I personally have never seen a charger go out the top and through a hood, but if you want to be safe you might consider having fiberglassed hood owners add some metal directly above the turbo.

The free-rev test may get a little hairy if somebody doesn't have a recall tach or similar, free-reving a truck may get met with a "discussion".

The water was allowed only because if some really big trucks come I know how heat can be a problem. Just because they have the fuel and not the cooling we felt like we were giving everyone else an unfair advantage in that heat is what kills things. I think that rule is pretty clean cut and people won't have a problem with it.

I'm going to let fiber glass hood go for it. I have seen a turbo come apart and go into the hood but most of those trucks are huge for power and people already have something lined up for that.

The discussion will be what it wants. The tech officials will see that things are done in a safe manor and level playing field. As it states at the bottom, if someone has a problem with that, they can watch like the rest of us. They are trying to put things on with a level playing feild and will do whatever they can do create that enviroment.

I would hope if you are allowing water, that it will be poured in at the track. Methanol is clear - just like water. I personally don't know why this one rule was changed. All the DHRA trucks running big fuel and tons of heat are not allowed to run it, so why change that one rule? There are a ton of trucks built to run DHRA rules and therefore are not set up to take advantage of water.
