Is the truck going to be a full time puller? or will it see some miles on the street. If so the fly weights on the comp puller will screw with you shifting. Im running a DD Iorn disk clutch with a 3800lb pressure plate like what SBC uses. Like it a lot. It takes a lot af abuse. One thing i do like about Haisleys clutch is that it has the springs that hold the floater plate to keep it from making noise when you push in the clutch.

Yeah the weights are hard to get adjusted at first but call and talk to van and he will help you out big time. Never had any trouble getting ahold of them. My brother runs the Keeny's weighted clutch on the street you can do it but it's kinda a pain but can be done. I run haisley's street puller along with some of my buddies. I have put about 20 hooks on it this year and it had 20 hooks on it before I got it. My recent pull I slipped it so bad the pressure plate got hot and cracked so i had to order a new pressure plate and I am gonna re adjust the clutch and put it back in an use it for another hopefully 10 or so hooks to save on the new disks I just ordered from Kenny's machine. I think Haisley is defiantly on top with competetion clutches. How much horspower do ypu plan on pushing it might be an idea to go ahead and get a triple disc. They do have springs that keeps it from rattling whuile the clutch is engaged but they do rattle when the clutch is not engaged.

I am planning on getting it up to 850 to 900hp this winter. If next summers hooks go good then were going for 1000+hp.

Double disc should hold that but you would get alot more life out of a triple disc. Did you call haisley and talk to van or curt and tell them what your planning and ask them. They are extremly nice to talk to and even remember you when you call back. Kinda sounds like you might need a triple disc but maybe not.

I talked to kurt and a few other people about it, U probably know this truck twisted goat is running that clutch, I talked to the owner and the mechanic for that truck and they said they had 35 hooks on it last summer and no problems at all.

Yeah Kevin Cole! Defiantly one of the top trucks in Missouri. Then yeah you will have plenty with that clutch then. This Clutch I have was in a truck turning 850hp and couldn't hand it but it's the street puller I think the comp puller is more suited for the bigger trucks. Also seen good things with kenny's triple disc but you cannot go wrong with a Haisley. Have I seen you around before? I hooked up in Jeff City at the beginning of the year did you pull?
