Highest VP44 on #2 only?

Does Nathan still hold the VP44 #2 only record at 654hp? If so, I want to be second! I was pleased to run 648.4HP corrected, 640.71HP uncorrected today on the dyno. That should make this truck easier to sell, right?

Nathan did a 648 uncorrected back in the day. This September will be two years
Man time flies when your having fun!

He recently stepped it up a bit, but it was on a heavy roller dyno and the numbers dont always add up to the 248C numbers.

I think you are right in line there Brandon for second. Huff and Puff managed a 640 something uncorrected and a 636 correctedI believe, but I cant remember exactly.

Awesome numbers for you, none the less I hate to see ya sell it.

A good time ago I did 617hp with a bent push rod and no valve seats. Thats getting to be a good time back as well. Time really does fly.

I did 546 cleaning up the smoke completely, but then broke the block at the #6 cylinder. It broke below the piston rings, and went down almost to a main bearing.

(Not that 546 is that good of a number, but I have the highest street HP here in town. )

Maybe. But when you live in a town with a population of 5 (and 3 of those don't even drive cars) does it really matter.

LOL. But john's truck can't pull a ricer in neutral and TxDiesel007 is just a goofball who nobody cares about so that knocks the count back down.

Well, that scares me...

How did you manage to break the block at "only" 546 HP?

I dunno. My 12v was doing fine over 700hp untill I starved the fuel pump for fuel...

Maybe too much boost. Each piston had a .020" or better indention on it from the intake valve...
