Fun in the Snow! pictures

I figured you guys might enjoy these pictures. We have had some recent cold weather and snow at low elevation so me and some buddies decided to head up to the mountains for a day and take advantage of it. We all had a great time with no carnage and no one ever got stuck bad enough to where we couldnt pull them out with the strap. We also smoked out a fair amount of Power Strokes, while roosting them with snow while passing them
I will try and get some video up too. Enjoy!

Looks like a blast, you gotta love a perfect mixture of dark black soot and nice white snow.

Looks like fun, wish we got some decent snow here in PA. We have the 35 degree rains and humidty. Badley has some serious low boost fuel.

Black snow is perfectly helfy for you. It satisfys those diesel cravings for up to 2 Hours. I figure I might be able to make a killing on it selling it to all the wifes of the members of this board. That way they feed it to the addicted husband and they get up to two hours at a time with them, instead of them spending the time with the truck.

Looks like a blast. I wish we could get one last shot of snow here to play in, but I don't think that will happen.

HaHa, nice!.

That wouldn't happen to be near the Sly Park area would it? Right before I left Sacramento I headed up the mountains for a little snow fun, that area in those pictures looks awfully familiar.

btw, who's Ford Explorer is that in the background? Was he there just wishing he had a CTD.

Yep, highway 88 I believe, up sly park road and just accross the dam, from there on they were not plowing it. I dont know who was in the explorer, there were other vehicles all over that road also playing in the snow, they knew when the CTD's passed them

Cool, I went up there w/ a bunch of my buddies(all drove gassers) and we went on a few fire roads. Found us a nice big mud hole and ripped it up pretty good. One guy who came with us had a jeep w/ a LS1 in it with 37's. This guy literraly would make this jeep wheelie in the snow, funniest thing I ever seen.
