Just correcting about the 23rd of Sept in De Leon. If I got my information right, the De Leon Pull on the new track will be Sept. 29th. HWH will be the sled, that white thang sled that was to do the pickups during the festival will more than likely never be in De Leon again.

 

Sounds good... Maybe next year they will have two sleds???? That's what we were told.. but then.. they were supposed to be on the new track already...
Not the place to working the bugs out of a sled... We might see that sled again... (after some work..) The HWH sled broke today.. funny.. if it had been used at DeLeon.. it would have broke there... After an hr or so.. they had it patched enough to finish the day...

 

I have been going to the DeLeon pull several years now.Every year I tell myself I will never go back.It is run the same way time and time again.Seems as though the stock/modified pickups are pushed to the side every year.I wonder how many people go just to see the local people pull at the festival?
It was a dissappointment to see the white sled break,the guy that belongs to the white thang had worked really hard on it to get it back in shape.
