Glad to here you guys are wokring on shields for Cody's truck. It really can get the driver just as easily if something goes wrong.

Actually, I think I paid $150 or so for the blanket in my race truck. It is not that expensive at all for a 6 strap from Summit Racing. An automatic can explode like a bomb if things go south. Best not to have a foot blown off because of missing safety equipment(I have heard of this happening on race cars, and tractors or trucks are no different. Plus, if someone in the crowd was hurt it would be show over.

I think I am going to add some more metal around my flywheel housing after seeing that tractor come apart that night. I cant imagine billet flywheel and hayes clutch coming apart, but if the crank broke or something it could be bad. I

hey guys were puttin on a dyno the night before the sled pull. going to start around 5p.m and run into the night, well at least till 10p.m $40 three runs same as always at that new place Hott street where we started last time, the Dyno is fixed and they say it will work for us this time...duallys do not need to remove outers cause it's a wide dyno...burnouts permitted

I bumped this thread for those of you that don't have an 08 calendar to write thangs down on yet and are relying on sumone to bring this thread back to the top one week after the pull has takin place LOL.

So what did miss? Pulling the sled out the door any bedder? Anybody pull it out the door?

Buck, will have to post from a Drivers Point of view.. but it had to look better than the wall/fence coming up ahead with no place to go... They put on a good show.. check out orda's site.. and some on youtube of the event.. (mine are still stuck on the camera..)

Alan beat lynn and I, oh ya I blew my motor...but I think we had more smoke...there are a couple vid on ODRA site in the garage section, don't know why there aren't any videos here. Well ya missed a good time anyways, hey where was you at?????

Buck.. I saw the video clip of the pull... I think its on youtube... You have had some tuff luck with that thing... you'll get the bugs out of it... (I remember putting the first clutch in that truck.. haha.. )

I missed it because of my own stoopitadee. This is the only site that I watch for sled pulling info. Didn't write the date down and it wasn't bumped before the pull........Now you can understand my screen name chosen. LOL
