Hmmm

if u can put ur power to the ground better than he can, ull win, if not, it will be the inverse, but i sincerely doubt he has the TQ that ur cummins has..

Just put some weight and some tractiony tires and ur good to go...

With 40 tires and 4.56 gears if he starts in 4wheel low I think he will make it 1/2 to 3/4 down the track and something will break Then you are going to hear all the bragging that his truck has so much power he can twist a driveshaft or axil. So all you can do is pull him and hope his truck doesn't break

Oh I know he doesn't have the torque that my Cummins or any similarly modded cummins like mine has....

If you want to test the "torque" your truck has look me up next spring I'll direct you towards the local truck pulls.
I am only 25 miles south of you in Columbus.

I don't really want to sled pull though. I wouldn't mind doing it once or twice but I don't have the clutch to hold.

Show him what the mighty cummins can do, just load up on weights and hit it. This powerstroke is gonna get pwned.

If you have to worry about the clutch the powerstroke with an auto will drag you back in a heart beat.

He'll have trouble laying down his power through those big tires and he just doesn't seem to get it. I mean I'm using common sense here, and some biased dude with a big truck won't look at the whole picture.....
I think lockers will really help him. But the big tires wont!

If he has the tires and lift that you say then if you were to hook and tug-o-war his hitch heigth would unload your rear and he might take you.
But he doesn't have the torque that our mighty CUMMINS has.

tires

If 40s were so awesome at sled pulling id better get me some along with a 7.3 and some lockers then i can go through all the mud and think my trucks bad!!!
All BS aside, Bumper to Bumper id put my money on 40s, for one when he pulls he lifts your butt end up and you pull his down giving him more traction unless you have a goose neck and he hooks to his bumper then i think it would be close, on a track with a sled, It woud be a joke to watch him run, you would moke him like a pack of cools. as far as that other guy hes just backing his powerstroke buddies cause he thinks there isnt a better motor in the world.

I have a 7.3 and a cummins. There is no comparison. the only reason I still have the 7.3 is because no one wants it.
