1/4 mile time

Hey i finally got down to the track last friday to run the 1/4 mile. I ran a 16.7 @ 80 mph. I am happy with that time, just because of the amount of things i have done to my truck (not a lot of mods YET). let me know what you think. Soon to have 370's and maybe a bigger turbo on and then go run it again and see what it will run. Any others with 1/4 mile times? wouldnt mind seeing your time and mods either.

My 12.84 pass was a 1.66 60 foot and a 8.21 1/8 mile. For bracket racing I usually launch at 15 psi and run 60 foots in the 1.75 to 1.77 range and 1/8 mile times in the 8.30 to 8.33 range. With 13.0 1/4 mile times. Launching at 20 psi and harder isn't consistent due to spinning and I hate the feeling of spinning all four and then suddenly hooking up .

sounds like a well built truck. I wish i could say the same by having to worry about all 4 tires spinning.(then i would have a fast truck which is what im going for )

I'm not to fond of the way everything feels when that happens. I swore something was going to let go when it finally hooked.

I with you there. It has an ugly feeling. Spinning all 4 when it hits 2nd gear isn't as bad though...
