So Cal Dyno Day Coming 1/17/09

First event of the new year with a group I'm in. $40 for 3 pulls, we've gone there numerous times in the past with no problems Superior Auto in Anaheim. They always have cool toys to look at as well. http://www.virtualdodge.com/vdforum/...ead.php?t=9080

According to what I read, they have troubles with Diesels is this true?

Asside from that, its too soon for me to plan for my self. Sounds good though, I am glad things are happening around even with the economy taking a dive.

Diesel World did an article in their current issue (Feb. 09) on a 7.3l and used Superior Automotive. It looks like they have a Dynojet and they're getting TQ numbers too. $40 for three pulls is the best price I've ever heard of. Count me in.

Me too, if I have my truck back together by then.........I'm working on it-some major mods.

Who is behind the wheel of a persons' truck?? Who's running the dyno now anyway??

I've been there yrs. ago with my car and personally 'they' ran it way too high on the r's and kept it there too long. I have since been elsewhere when I could still use the dyno, now it seems that there's hardly any dyno's left around here.

I've heard some horror stories from that shop, exspensive ones.........but not any lately.........

Nope...AM

The other thread says they open at 8am and will start dyno runs at 8:30. If I was the first one, and just took a couple quick pulls...I figure I could be out of there by 8:45, leaving me 45 minutes for a 30 mile drive to school.

See you guys there.

I plan on just getting there early and paying to get on the list. It's usually first come first serve at these events. The roster is more to get a head count.

JohnX, I'm sure if you ask nicely, the others might just put you up front, lol! Woodchuck is right, the list is just a head count, there's no order of who goes first. Seriously, I'm sure nobody's gonna mind at all, this is a great group of folks. Besides, I got me a new digi cam that I'm gonna break in on this event.......... I'm still hoping on bringing a little something extra to the event to get a base line on that we just got running, needs to be dialed in, etc etc............. It ain't diesel, but it's got a big block, and it ain't my other car sadly..........
