I just confirmed 2 muscle cars to come, a father and son duo. Dad has a 1965 Olds Cutlass with a built 425 big block Olds and son has a 1966 Olds 442 also with a 425, the 442 was my first car. Here's the '65 and the '66 I will be towing the '65 down because it has no mufflers, just open headers, this will be the first time on a dyno with it.

Is this event mosly for gassers? From the looks of the other site most of the trucks there are 1500s. That is a long way to drive to watch a bunch of itty bitty trucks with no soot!!!! If you know what I mean???

It'll be a nice mix. And you're only 30 miles north of me so what's an extra 4 gallons of fuel? We always have a good time when we get together, it ain't all bout the trucks you know.

BigHorn 06 and Woodchuck, you both have good points. I guess I will have to make sure I get up early and be there. Oh, I suppose i should wash my truck too. Looking pretty shabby after all the snow and mud we had up here around Christmas time.

The ding dang Olds broke before we even got off the trailer so no dyno for it!! First time dynoing with mods. I'm VERY happy with what I got. The truck sticks me in the seat good, but I didn't think it was that good!! 456 HP and 812 TQ. It was real cool hanging out with fellow gearheads! I got vids of alot of folks, just gotta figure out how to work with this new camera. I had my attention diverted most of the time, he had a beautiful '66 Olds 442 there that I took alot of pics of for reference to build mine. Thanks for coming on down folks!

It was a great event overall but I felt a little sorry for the gassers. We have it a lot easier when it comes to making big power. Superior knows what they're doing in regards to dynoing diesels and they have a lot of really cool muscle cars to look at.
I start out in the morning with my favorite butt dyno tune at 485.6 HP and 938.8 TQ, not too shabby but still below my highest numbers last year at Crude Drags II with my Hot Juice.
Big Horn 06 did so good with cranking up the Smarty to 9 (REVO tune) that he inspired me to turn off the TST and crank up the Smarty to 9 (TNT) and I ended up with less power so I turned the TST back on to 4x1 and got 534.2 HP and 1007.2 TQ (very last run of the day)
Still having issues with the power delivery when I crank it up that high. It bucks a little and acts like it’s loading up then clears and goes like hell so the curve has a bit of a dip before it goes to peak.

Good day over all and it was good to meet everone. Looks like us diesel folks kind of took over as there weren't very many gassers that showed up. Had a good time even though I forgot to have him clear my codes on start up and I think that is why I came up kind of short with only 346 HP. Guess one of these days I will have to stop being so blond!
