bad or incorrect part thread
Can we add a section to the sticky that includes bad part numbers and list the new replacement numbers and such? For instance i recently replaced my head gasket and purchased the Cummins upper engine gasket set part number 4089649. I found on here where someone said this kit includes the wrong valve seals but was unable to find an explanation as to which ones are wrong and what the right ones look like.
If you purchase Cummins part number 4089649 you need to request they take the "top hat" style valve seals out and replace them with the old style seals. The ones that look like a to hat do not work on the old style 12v head.

Folks, let's keep this thread to the point.
- To help better find stuff, please note what part you're talking about in the top/right of your post where it says "Title".
- To help keep a clean look, down at the bottom of your post, untick "Show your Signature".
Like the following (borrowing 93-12Smoke's post above) . . . .
