Finally got her back together

 

Needs a Sunoco sign on the door 30yrs ago we had a dirt car painted those colors and that truck would have made a good tow unit for the race team.

 

Cool,another name. My wife calls it the smurf truck, my adult children call it the hot wheels truck and the crew on the ferry call it the napa truck. I call it a darn site better looking than it was and tough as heck since it is painted with bed liner.

Im a WVU fanatic. I love red but if I had to paint a spare truck any other color scheme it would be THE OLD GOLD AND BLUE

 

Knew i wanted to stay with blue, but was unsure about the accent color till i saw i big rig with those colors.

That is very true, have also been told it would be a poor getaway truck in a robbery.!

 

Hmmm, you did a great job getting rid of that ugly yellow. The after picture with the two tone blue looks aLOT better!!






























Just givin you a hard time. The Linex looks great...but I would've kept the stock color scheme personally.

It's not yellow it's gold
it's not line x, that is a professionel product. This is a diy product called monstaliner,normaly rolled but i sprayed. Used mostly on jeeps.

 

Lol, oh, excuse me....well, being gold is a little better I suppose!

You did a great job laying it down, that's for sure! How much did the supplies for the monstaliner cost you?

Including their rust treatment, for the bottom of that door, their primer and 3 coats of finish product, just north of $500. Stuff better last a long time!

Thanks, it took a lot longer than expected, but i guess building two houses and restoring a sailboat held me back a bit. Gotta keep the wife happy
