I found an 86 D100 that the chassis is perfect on. I would like to swap a 1990 non/ic that I have into.

Went to look at the D100 today, It has a different front clip.

1. Would I swap the clip from the cummins truck into the D100 or fabricate new motor mounts on the D100 clip?

2. The D100 coil springs look weak, If I do leave the old clip, will the heavier springs fit the D100 clip?

3. Can the top A-Arm stay on the D100 chassis?

Thanks!

Just drop 'er in there and use diesel springs. The mounts will bolt up.
