I will, when I get a new manifold. this one still has th e stand pipe welded into from the external wastegate. when I get a new one it'll get coated before it ever gets put on. so hopefully it keep the underhood temps way down.

What kind of flange is on that manifold for the wastegate? Or, what kind of wastegate was on there? I'm gonna be running eithere a 38mm or 44mm Tial on mine, ones a flange, the others a v-band. So I either need a pipe welded onto the manifold, or have an adapter made up.

that wastegate is in my garage now and I made a block off plate for it. I've got the hot pipe for it with the dischaged welded to it. I'm using a different hot pipe when I put the 3B on the bottom.

this is the 4C hot pipe 50mm gate and dump pipe you can kind of see behind there.........

How have you got it set-up? what pressure is it set at? I like to know what pressure it start to open at and how much it fully opens. One day I have to get a ride from your truck to see how much different your twins are from mine.
Well I just took a ride in my truck. It has a pretty hard shift between 1st and second. The DTT converter is high stall unit and seems to turbo lite pretty fast. I just got the truck back from the dealership and the shifter linkage jumped off the transmission lever and I had no gears at all. For while there I thought that my tranny was done. It was well worth the wait and I saved money over the PDR unit.
I also saw that the coating place does heads. I'm thinking that I might get everything coated on my engine mid life service. You get the head back from Arron?

For sure Mike we'll go for some rides. my truck was pulling like a rocketsled when the HG went down. and now that you mention it, I discovered when I took the turbine housing off the 40. that the copper gasket was interfering with the wastegate. so I'm not sure it was working properly anyways. I've left the wastegate setting at factory setting. I'm useing the stock diaphram from my truck. I think it was 23psi or something like that.

Well I'm burning diesel again. The DTT unit is a pretty nice transmission and was well worth the effort and wait. The only thing that bugs me is that my truck has more vibration then before. Everything in the cab shakes now and there is audioable hum from the doors. I don't remember her doing that before.
I'm gonna try to balance her up this weekend. I'm kinda scared to put any miles on her like this. If I can't balance it up and reduce the vibration levels, I'm gonna try my other flex plate. I hate to wipe a rear bearing out of the engine after all the fun that I had to get her together.

nice to hear Mike!

We're moving to Okotoks the week after next........so I'll be hard pressed to make it up without a running truck.

Kinda dissapointing when Aaron told me it would be back with plenty of time to make the Dyno day.........and a day or two does not count as plenty of time.
