Time to thin the pack
You know guys, I keep wondering if this could go wrong. Grand Geek has a dozen or so DTR guys out at his place. All bring their long guns, some tents and a few 6-packs of beer. Everyone sits around at dusk, gets a little mellow and then a coyote shows its face. Is there any way this could have a bad ending? How many of the best redneck stories (I am a proud redneck btw) started out with 'Hold my beer and watch this.....'

About 95% of them started that way. the odds are in your favor for another story to be created and the odds are even better it will bring tears of laughter to everyones eyes.
whens the gathering? lol
I found where the dens are.. This could be fun.. 12gauge sxs plus other "toys" lol
BTW there will be NO over night camp with beer and guns... But the possibility of a "shoot" is very real..

I will ask her next time---thanks for the "live trap tip"-----she is only 2 Km from the Peace River valley outside of Dunvagan AB---lots of different creatures move along her 1/4 to the valley.
Good shooting if you can hit a 'yote at 1000yds. That has to be a sub one inch MOA rifle to do that shot very often.
A 1700+yds shot with a 50 would be unreal. I'll never have the time to practice or the money to build a rifle that shoots .5 MOA.

good luck getting close enough to use that... They are staying out at 200 plus yards... My 257 weatherby is now in the truck for the rest of its life.... I'm really thinking of taking one other buddy in to flush these outta the den area (Its surrounded by spruce trees) and have one or two guys on the other side ready to shoot the buggers as they come out...
