At the risk of hijacking this....My 16 year old has a sub in his trunk which was installed by his buddy's, who talked him into using welding cable as the ground for the amp. Is there seriously a need for a ground as big as my finger? It kept coming loose from his amp because it was impossible to connect properly so I s##t canned it and put a 12 guage wire on it.
