Couple of inches and still falling heavily here just northwest of Sundre. Going to be one of those days.

We got a few cm's overnight but it sure made the hwy nasty. 22x from out near Carseland to Deerfoot was polished ice with snow on top. Thank goodness that when I drive it at 5:30am, there isn't too much traffic. I bet it was really nice by 8am.

Cochrane Hill was greasy at 7:30AM(few in the ditch) but the sanders were pouring the salt/gravel on it when i was heading down---not to bad, just drop a gear and let the motor hold me at 70-80KPH---not like the lady in front who rode the brakes from top to bottom to the first set of lights.Wipers ate two jugs of the "Smurff Juice" today in 250KM of driving (Wally mart 2.49 on sale)."DRIVE SAFE"----------DW

On the summit they got 90 inches (that's 9-0) of snow this last storm. Fortunately, at our elevation we got just a dusting, but four inches of rain for a total of 35 inches this water year (so far).

Paid attention on the way home tonite. One or two warm days, and my normal route to the hwy will be a fishing hole. Good thing I have some options. It sucks when the bow wave is taller than an import car.
