shipping a tranny

shipping a tranny

hey all,

i have a 1974 mopar slant six with 727 trans. the pair has an original 3000 miles on them!!!

i have someone interested in the trans but he is in vancouver b.c. anyone know how much it would cost to get the trans out there? anyone know the approx weight of one of these trannies?

That is going to probably weigh 150lbs I would imagine. You will need to send it via CFL or a company like that. probably cost around 150 bucks,, maybe less if you do some phoning around

woops i wrote 727 - it is actually a 904

i'm not sure what he is going to use it for.

if anyone knows anybody looking for a REALLY LOW MILEAGE /6 & tranny - send them my way!

i'm going to the coast on wed evening. Abbotsford actually. If its something he needs and you want to get there we may be able to get together. I can keep a spot in my truck open I think.

cool. thanx for the offer. i am working wednesday from 11am to 11pm - but i could have it packaged and ready to go with someone to help you load it.

pretty gracious offer, i'll see if he is interested in doing this and get back to you . . .
