Is the 6.7L motor mount different than the 03 5.9L CR? I bet that you might have to build a new bracket to mount the 6.7L mounts or fabercate a new motor mounts for the 6.7L

I will be welding my 5.9L into place next week, but I plan to use the stock 24V 5.9L motor mount. Mines a pretty easy build. Hoping to be under the 3500 lbs mark, with a four link back half running 15in wide tires. The dream is to run low 10's right out of my garage, first time out.

LOL,, I just looked at it myself,, it dosent look like much does it,,, well it is the drivers side motor mount and it has a hole in it and ripped where the connecting rod smacked it a few times.

Mike, I think it is the same on the 6.7 and the 5.9 as far as I can tell by looking at them...... My thoughts are that they should be the same between all of them,,, but I wish I had one to compare it with... maybe Dan if you have that 24 valve one handy I could grab it from you and see if it will work?

Shane,, I almost spit on my keyboard

I'll take a look see into my pile of CTD parts. I do have an 03 HO CTD engine, in storage, so I might have motor mounts for ya. I do have a sets for VE 12v, 12v P7100 and 24V ctd's. You getting close to putting the engine into the truck? I really would like to see what kinda of numbers you squeeze out that little 6.7L engine

You said that your going with flux 8's injectors? How much flow are they rated at? Don changing the spray angle? I want a big set as well, but I want to upgrade the larger nozzles from a JD or IH466 engine. If I can't get a big set, I'll just use a set of mach 8's or a dynomite 300 sticks.

Yeah, I am hoping to shove the engine in next weekend. That would be awesome if you had some, maybe you can see if they look the same too as the other years

Thanks

i couldn't make out what that picture was, so i assumed the engine mount was junk. If the frame section needs some attention i can bring my welder out for ya and burn in some plate sections.

6.7 shows different part #'s in the '07 Chrysler cataloging I have than 5.9-not sure what the difference is though. Also shows different part #'s between BR & DR body styles. Never had a chance to look at a 6.7 to see how the mounts bolt to the block-or actually paid attention to the motor mounts in a DR-style truck compared to the BR style.

They are all different styles and designs. I'm not sure if the 03 has a motor mount on it. The VE and 12v stuff look similar, but the 24v is different. I check tomorrow. I have to get a mock-up engine ready anyways, so I can dig around to see what I can find. Here is what Brett and I are working on. I'll snap a pic later on. I hoping on getting the 4-link done and the motor installed in the next week.

I looked thru my pile of stuff, no motor mounts for a common rail. I think Kev you could just build them from scrap metal. Thats what I plan to do.
