Well I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Mitusa kit from Opie. Just sent the MO to him today, so I probably won't see it for at least 2-3 weeks as it is coming via regular ground mail.
I don't know when I will be installing it yet, but I know some others were interested in seeing it. So - if interested, you're more than welcome to drop by whenever I do the install to take a look.
Sounds like it is a fairly simple install from what I gathered in talking to Opie. I think the hardest part is going to be plumbing and running the lines. I'm also installing a Perma Cool filter/filter head at the same time so I'm going to have to find a spot for that . . .
On a side note - I won't be going to the AAG Blackout - gotta' work instead!!!

the Mitusa is a mechanical lift pump designed to replace the stock electric LP's.
It is mounted at the front/bottom of the block and is run by a pulley bolted to the harmonic balancer. as engine rpm's rise - the pumps output rises with it!

You gonna do the draw straw mod? The stock in-tank fuel pick-up system isn't that great. You can gain pressure by just installing a 1/2 pick-up. I have one on the shelf at home, but I haven't had time to install it. It has a nice AN8 or 10 (I'm guessing) so you can tie it to your pump and get a nice tight seal. The return line goes back into the stock drain. Fass users can use the stock connection, instead of teeing the tank breather line. So you can fuel when the truck is running.

The small pump max pressure is 100psi the next size up Gusher is 200 and change. But they are both regulated at 16 psi unless requested otherwise.

i can't wait to get started and put this thing in!
what a well engineered design, and well put together kit. it looks as though EVERY little detail/component was well thought out and NOT cheaped out on!
i'm hoping to get started this weekend or during the week sometime if i'm able to find some time!!

i got the regular pump. there is a larger 'gusher' available and you would probably need the gusher. i don't know how much the gusher is though.
it seems to be a very well put together kit. it is a pump with lines/fittings only. there are no filters in the kit. just have to buy a spin-on filter head and a filter then just plumb it inline on the positive side of the pump.

you can buy 2 filter heads and add a water separator too . . .
