You say that, but then he'll have them and expect you to install them.

Jamie, done. Let me know when buddy. I wouldn't might doing some work on your secondary some, just so we can get the S475 to lite up decently. I have a spare used S475 available (500km's on it), if cost is an issue. If at some point down the road, you want a larger secondary or a bigger primary, its pretty easy to change stuff.

Its not just Mike Holmen inc, doing the work. Lots of players involved along the way, I'm just the lucky guy that unemployeed and has tons of time for goofing off in the garage. Sometimes I learn things, the hard way of course.

Brett is the guy doing the awesome welding and Tate doing the big brain power stuff and making sure everything is done correctly.

Twins go on pretty easy. You can just about build a set from scratch (a pile of tubing/turbos) into a runner in a few days. The trick is having all the small pieces. Garretts, you need coolant hoses, but other than that it goes pretty quickly. The 97 and older trucks you need to punch a hole into the oil pan.

When do you need my truck? I just want a good match set that won't kill drive pressures.

Probably get it done sometime in April. What size of sticks you going with? I'll PM you a price using your stock turbo as the secondary. You know that you're stock turbo will source of the high drive pressures. At some point the turbine housing will not flow enough exhaust and will start to restrict flow, causing high drive pressure. I suggest that you try a stock turbo and get back to me if you need more turbo. I can easily get larger secondary turbos, but a stocker/S475 should be fine for 40-50psi. The drive to boost pressure ratio should be around 1:1. There are a few more tricks we can to do some cheating.

I find that I run more boost running twins than you would running a single. My truck running a GT37 I would run 30-40psi, twins you're 50-60psi pretty quickly. Sure helps with EGT's and the smoke levels.

Stock sticks for now. Thinking of going 90HP max for injectors. I might be able to get ahold of my old 62/71/13SS instead of using the factory turbo. I just want it to spool like stock or faster. I'm not looking for 60psi or crazy but want fast spooling and good cooling without high drive pressures. I just son't want to spen over $4000.00. That's why I thought the II set was a good bang for the buck at $3000.00 and the reviews have been pretty good too.

Jamie, the stocker will work. I'm thinking that your going to be around 70-80 psi with those injectors. Lots of tricks to get that stock secondary to flow decently. That 62/71 might be abit sluggish for spool-up, but would work. If you're game to try stuff, so am I. Probably have time in late April-May to build something for ya. Sure we can build something cheaper and better than what you can find else where. Any of those stocker kits will have issues with drive pressure.

Suppose to work in the states again this summer. Just looking forward to all that paper work.

Just throwing this out there for you Jamie, and would work sweet with a stocker turbo and decent sized primary.

only thing with those is the gate pipe is on the wrong side of the manifold unless you can get it on both

Depends on how you are building it.

But yes you can get it on either side.

You can put in two gates on there, any size, any wastegate flange and any turbine inlet flange. Not sure if the manifold is divided front to rear like the stocker is. Just given you guys any ideas. You can make some wicked stuff. Today, you can custom build you're own set-up, have streetablity and have the top end power and/or towing. The wastegate can be adjusted in-cab. Its sweet deal. Steed is onto a gold mine, if he can market it. That's the outfit from Didsbury, they moved to Kelowna. I might buy one just to try out. Not that a home made one isn't cool, this is just easier. I like building twins in a few days, from scratch.
