May 30 Show and Shine

I'm a bit early on this...But my old club has invited the Alberta diesel trucks to their show and shine on May 30/2010...They had a very good true out last year with all kinds of cars and trucks.....But not one diesel.Would be cool to have a long line of diesels trucks or even some diesel cars this year...Here is the details:

Calgary Firebird Club
6th Annual Charity Show & Shine

May 30, 2010 at the Deerfoot Mall
901 - 64 Street NE, Calgary, AB, Canada
Once again, our charity is the Children's Wish Foundation.

Donation is $10.00 per vehicle

I guess that I would have to wash my truck and remove a dent or two out of my ride. Does the truck have to be a driver?

Your truck will be a driver Mike.....Your never down for long.

After the exposure at the Calgary world of wheels..We got four invites from various car clubs in Calgary, to join them in their yearly show and shines...Not bad for non-truck club that was started about 8 years ago.Remember when we where only 9 trucks..I think it was Lil'Dog and Dr Evil that started the very first Alberta GTG and dyno event...Its come a long ways.

Sure Kevin.....If you have the time and want to do this...Is the the same thing they do with newly painted show cars and truck....That would be to color sand in several steps, and buff the truck out in a 4 step process. This gets rid of the factory/newly painted orange peel that occurs with base/clear paint..Or could just do the stand hand polish...That would look good also..

It had a big power polish about 2 years ago,, I think they did the color sand then, if i am not mistaken... maybe if you have a chance to come to the races you can look at it and see what you think?

Tate, don't give out to much info, as it will be difficult for us to hang out with the dodge guys anymore if we use that Furd word.

I'm interested in doing the meet, I think it would be fun. If I'm here I do the show and shine. Didn't they used to call it the "Spring Fling Car Show".
