Ummmmmmmm - Dave, Dude --------- 9 days at 2 pounds per day = 18 pounds of phatitude. A small price to pay if I may say so.

Have a bodacious cruise man - enjoy!

Cheers!

Ditto.. Have a great vacation guys! I'm totally jealous.

We've never been on a cruise before but visions of carrying my scuba gear plus my hockey gear sounds like a perfect vacation! And the pool bar of course!

DW have a good trip, been living on dial-up internet service for the last week. I finally had a chance to read and my head isn't so sore today. Just slept for 14hrs, man new years kicked my butt this year. Been a fun week, looks like we are going to get winter this year.

Well made it back, good holiday.... but I can sure tell you that this was my first,, and last with Royal Caribbean. Its not that it was bad, just sub standard compared to Celeberty that we were on last year. But, I still managed to gain 10 lbs,, LOL

Wow---first bad thing i have ever heard about them---i have 3/wife has 5 cruises with them and have had a wonderful time/no complains.I will keep it in mind but "FYI" Royal Carribean owns Celeberty Cruise line---its there higher end business(kinda like Nissan and Infinity)---satisfies for most but luxury for the few who will spend the coin.-----------Our cruise aboard the Oasis(Royal Carribean)was great---lots to do/clean/service was 10+,no problems with them/friendly staff .----I have to rant and i am "NO RACIST",most people deserve respect but some Spanish speaking passengers were outright rude/no manners/disregarding the basic rules(plenty aboard).Being Canadian we were trying to be tolerant/better person but the first word were "me don't speak english".If you left your pool chair to head to the hot tub and leave your belongings on the chair, they would put drop your stuff on the floor and steal your lounger---happened /witnessed a few times with other passengers, security was involved as well.Inside eating area is no shirt/no shoes----NO SERVICE---Ignored.Adult only section ignored again with the same kids being asked to stay out only to return 5 seconds later acting up,parents looking the other way.Very few Canadians aboard and the folks from Europe were a blast to chat with.Met Geovanni from Toronto and his 17 Italian family members----he got caught trying to smuggle 36 bottles of home made wine on board in all his family suitcases, so he was a little upset having to spend 7.50+tip a glass from RC.DW----------PS a bit of a shock to the system going from +30C to -30 in 24 hours

If you get the chance, go with a Celebrity, total step up. I feel that the Princess line and the Royal are about on a equal,, really good, but not to the level of the Celebrity.

Thanks----i will let the MRS know as she does all the planning/bookings ----i'm only along for the ride-----if see doesn't book the vacations i never take em----just the way i'm wired i guess.I get 6 weeks a year in a few months and the boss is more than happy just to pay me out than try to find a replacement for the time gone, plus i still have about 10 weeks banked from the last few years. The Mrs has to take her mandatory 6 weeks or losses them so she kinds of ride my butt about spending "QUALITY TIME "with her.DW
