Sorry to hear David - maybe it was the same piece o crap that stole my lug cover last summer at the blackout???

When I lived in Hanna - I left a full case of CDs on the seat and forgot to lock the truck when we were gone for a long weekend.

Some idiot backed into the car today (hit and run of course) when we were getting groceries....

I had an apartment in Phoenix awhile back...I was coming out to my truck and here is this 'illegal' trying to break in on the passenger side. So I walked up and said; "Hey buddy, you lock your keys in your truck?" He smiles and says "Yes Senoir" So I helped him by grabbing the back of his head and his pants and commenced to slamming him into the corner of the cab several times until I knew he was napping.

I then went back into the apartment and reported that someone was or is laying in the parking lot by my truck that may need medical attention. Then I went back down and waited...and waited while the guy moaned and tried to move around...I had my foot on his head when the cops arrived. They saw the jimmy bar down the passenger side and looked at me. The one cop said; "Looks like he fell or something." I agreed and they took him...but they told me he was not going to jail, he was going for a ride.

So guys once in awhile they do get caught and I can assure you that when they get caught...if I catch them, they will fall...again and again.

Sorry about your hassles. My sister lost her side glass and other parts on her Beemer for a half full pack of smokes.
Never did get that one resolved completely with insurance with all the extra damage she had.

Just like the "old man said ---"BUSTED KNEES" its hard to fight/run when you can't stand----Any way got the truck booked in for Wed afternoon, called the insurance and the broker said claim it since i haven"t had an accident in 20 years"and i send them about 5000.00 every year to insure 3 vehicles/house/rv/quads/boat(to many **** toys).Yadda Yadda Yadda with ING and wholla----$790.00+GST installed for a full rear slider at Speedy(insurance recommended).NO the broken slider cannot be just replace as it is all pressed in when they assemble----so be warned if it happens to you count on $800 bills to cover it.I will give it one more shot----if it happens again,no more sliders for me ,i'll go the solid route next time.I did find a hinged louver at www willpak.com for our trucks---may try it with the slider, might be bit of a deterrent.
