tate when did you get a 98 12v?
The trim relates to the area of the exducer to the area of the inducer. If you have the stage two like me, its the .56 trim. They are both 82mm exducer. Square that, multiply by the trim (0.56), then square root and you get the inducer size. The 1 is in the 59mm range, the 2 is in the 61mm range. Did you pick that turbo up from Tom?

I picked up the 12v yesterday. Need to get it registered, do an oil and fuel filter change, and I'll need some advice from the 12v gurus. I've got a lift pump tick. No fuel pressure gauge yet, so I don't know if someone stretched the overflow valve spring too much, or if its just a lame pump.

Does it have the HX40 outlet on it, or is it the Garrett adapter? Good that you picked it up. I'll want a ride in your rig when you get it on, I'm quite anxious to see how it performs.

I'm sure I'll need a clutch soon. I'm getting the itch to put a 3k GSK, my hot rod 370 injectors and a 10 plate in. This thing is a dog with the stock governor springs. Feels like a Smarty on half power. The pedals are opposite to my dually. Light clutch and hard throttle. Used to a real stiff clutch and sensitive throttle.

I just want to point out, 3782 garrett makes a nice secondary twins turbo. Put a S400 under it, you'll flow more than enough air for any fuel combo you can dream of. I would guess that you would have air to support 700 to 800rwhp, of course if you want to use NOS, you don't need the S400. I'm trying to find a spot to fit in my methanol kit. I might have to use the window washer bottle for this outting. I wonder how the wastegate is set-up? Stock it starts to opens around 40psi area, I currently have mine set to fully open at 35psi. I have extra 3in exhaust flanges made up for the garrett if you want to try welding as I think that the garrett stock 2 1/2 exhaust flange, I cut mine off and dumped the rest. I would like to see how Tate's 4in flange is built.

Luke, buddy, you're gonna need ladder bars. You can see from the rubber marks that the rear was bouncing some. You started off good, you got at least 20 feet of decent rubber laying, but the last 20 feet you got the spring wrapping going on (rubber for 5 feet and 5 feet of nothing). Next time I'll come and visit you and see if I can put done a longer mark. The rig sounded good, hopefully you can put done some decent #'s in the next met. Thanks for coming out for the afternoon and no beer was drank, go figure that one out. We all where drooling over Tate's new sweet ride.

I haven't been able to hook up with Vex Tuning just yet to verify all the details for our Dyno event in Red Deer. I am in Jasper here until Thursday. I will update as soon as I can get together with the shop.
