If you cool the charge with nitrous. you won;t notice any loss i bet.

I'm with Luke, testing would determine that for sure so you can make that diffinative. I found out on the weekend, you can't run a lifter valve gridle (the plate on the side of the engine) on a CR motor. The block is different, nothing seriously though. Just looking at my parts, the VE block looks the most beefy. The 98 p pump and my 01/02 24V look similar for blocks. Anyways, one day.

Tons of the big boys don't use them. Nitrous and water meth are the way to go it seems with the big big boys..

Hard to just use fuel and make the big ponies these days. The drugs are just hard on parts.

Unless I miss my guess, I think I would actually gain by not having it. With the big chargers I dont think that egt's will be an issue, and the weight gain will be significant, and the simplicity of the piping too

There are lots of variables like pressure and temperature at the discharge of the turbo. How much spray you use and where you use the spray is also important. It just changes how much air you really have in the intake.

Mike, I dont think that the ammount of nitrous will be a problem,, I can add as much as it takes. And I dont need nitrous to be hard on parts ,, LOL
