Freightliner in Red Deer for a headgasket or any Cummins dealer should be able to get the gasket they just need your engine serial #.

are they head gaskets the same between them all? I got two in my cummins kit, a thick and thin one, and still have the thin one left over.

I looked at some of your posts, sucks that the tranny is slipping. That TC was an aftermarket HD unit but I cann't remember who made it. It was pretty tight when I put it in, you must have been working it good!

The flexplate is from a 2nd gen Dodge, much heavier than the 1st gen origianl(still have the torn up original hanging on the garage wall). Valve body is stock except for a couple of extra turns on the line pressure screw.

Get the 4500 in yet?

No I don't have the 4500 in yet. I got the engine out and on a stand then work got busy, and I ended up with a hernia so trucks just sitting there for a while.
