Sounds and look awesome buddy. Nothing beats a big block, well maybe a big inch diesel. I thought you going to run one of those big blowers that you have on the camaro?

As much as I hate to say it that thing does have a wicked rumble to it nothing quite like that big block sound but it will never ever beat the sound of a straight six or a idi 6.9 straight piped man those things can roar!

My wifes 4.0 Jeep does better burn out than that.

Come on Luke your killing me, put the dam hood on it and do the wheel stand!!

My buddy has a 70 Chevelle SS with a 454. The original motor is completely redone to stock specs and sitting on a stand. We put a marine 454 in it but their is nothing stock about it. Pulled 602 hp on the local dyno. He put a gear vendor under/over drive in it also. It is retarded fast for a street car

Sounds awesome Luke, good job buddy. Should throw on a set of HX-40's or twin S366 and make some big power. I just pulled out my old 383in dodge that I had stored for the last 20 years. I pulled that engine out of a 69 dodge super bee, just because it was to small. Threw in a 440in engine just for kicks. That was way back when there was no really no aftermarket parts.

Luke if you need another 454 engine, I know were a 76 truck engine is.

I'd like to find a 4 bolt main block for my blower engine. both 454s I have now are 2 bolt mains. if that 76 is a 4bolt block I should snag it.

Pretty sure it is, I'll ask the old man on the weekend on what his plans for it is. I really doubt he want it any more. What heads you want to put on it? My neighbor has a 502 68 camaro with a set of aluminum heads, been bugging him to throw on a few T-88 turbos, but it can hardly burn any off rubber though. I want to see if the crank would stay in place long enough for the smile come off my face.
