I bought two Delcos from Gregg's Distributors, across and down the street from Standens.

On my old '92 I was able to fit two batteries on the stock tray by turning them 90 degrees and triming a bit off the inner fender. Custom cables and hold down tray were needed but it was an easy job. Need a grinder for trimming the fender but thats was about it.

I just put in two group 31's into the 02 grey truck. First time that I remember paying for core charge. Is that new? $12 bucks a battery.

Roxxx, I didn't know that, you run one battery. Paid $130 per battery, plus deposit. Way too much money, but I need new batteries quickly darn cold weather.

google this address:
531 Manitou Road Se
Calgary, AB

i bought a set of odyssey batteries last winter. on the odyssey website they say the closest distributor is in BC. i did some calling around with the yellowpages and found a couple places in calgary selling odyssey. this place was the cheapest.

the address i gave is very close, and i think even in the same complex. i can't remember the name of the shop, but i know it is very close, if not next door to the address i gave you . . .

yeah the odyssey's were a bit pricey. definitely more than most, but certainly not outrageous by any means. if i recall correctly, i think i was under well under $400 for both batteries. i'll see if i can find the reciept to double check . . .
