Fuel pump

Ok, so Opie wont sell me one because I am in Canada, so what do you all recommend? The Glacier one? I am kinda leaning towards a mechanical one, but not 100%

The fass works fine,, it was my pickup was the issue, that and it just isnt enough umph for my engine anymore.. the 150 150 is only good to about 1000 1100 hp.

Greg,, I would need a minimum of 200 gph pump, and I would prefer mechanical. But if the deal was right I would go for a electric

You've got lots of contacts in the states. Get it shipped to them and have it ship it over the border. They can mark it as a gift and save you on the GST and such. Or have it shipped to the Montana shipping outlet (or whatever it is) and have someone pick it up and have it travel along the ABDTR transit system.

Sometimes the product is more important. I know I am thinking about one for when the day comes that the 12v pump won't keep up. But that is still a ways off.

So whats the problem shipping to Canada? Having to do that little Customs declaration sticker? Yeah, takes 3 seconds to fill out. Whew - what a lot of extra work.

Kev,

Call Rich at glacier, and get one of his fuel boss systems. Tell him what you're doing, and he'll help you tailor your setup to suit.

The fuel boss is much like the mitusa or the old RASP system. And rich doesn't peddle junk. Not only that, he's a standup guy for product support. I would deal with him again anytime.

What I clown, that guy will never get my money, won't ship to Canada, F him. If you are looking to use your factory tank glacier now has that drop in draw straw that replaces the factory intank fuel pump. I think you can get 200gph FASS now.I think a Mech would be much better for twin cp3 and reliability/simplicity though.

theres that guy on HERE that won't sell or ship to canada.

IIRC......hes got that High horsepower VE truck. from Indiana or something, i think he works at that big shop down there.

I had cash in hand for a part advertised on here. flat out said NO won't ship to canada. dropped me like a bad habit and never heard from him again.

AM I LESS OF A DIESEL ENTHUSIAST with cash, than some other stupid american.

Garbage.

did he say why not kevin?

other than being a little hard to get a hold of at times, he has given me great service. he shipped his stuff to me as if friend from friend like sending a gift.

i recently noticed a small leak in the pump - told him about it and he sent me a new pump asap via air mail!!! i changed it out and sent the old one back, has been good since then.

that's strange he won't ship to canada. despite what has been said here - he has given me great support/service.

i also asked him about the leak and if any other pumps had this issue - apparently mine was only the 2nd or 3rd one to leak so far . . .
