Found a mobile Dynojet

Ok guys...I may have found a mobile dyno...As I know its a dynojet and the fellow just bought it...He was running this dyno at the Chestermer show and shine...I sent him a email if he would be interested in a dyno event for the diesel trucks...Don't know where we will do this if the guy goes for it.I heard it was $80 a run...Wink mentioned he may have a lot to do it in...I will keep you guys posted..

Is the Dynojet a good one??All I heard is that he paid over a hundred grand for the thing...

I just talked to Chris....He is a mobile dyno and will put on a event in either Edmonton (He lives in Edmonton)...He will go to Red Deer and even Calgary. He does not charge milage either. Its a mobile dynojet which he said will handle 2000HP..He just bought it a year ago and would like to get some really torque on this thing..He would prefer Sunday diesel events because he is booked Saturday for show and shines in Alberta and BC..The only thing we have to find is a lot...What does everyone think??He will works with us for a diesel GTG..The price is $100($20 extra due to extra strap down) but he may flex on price as we go..Would like 20 trucks to dyno to make it worth it..Which is understandable..

I told him I would post his phone if anyone wants to contact him.

If it were to be in Calgary how bout that big lot over by the westjet building by the mcknight tims? I know Deb was scoutin it as a spot to do bigger events and stuff. That lot could easily hold twenty trucks prolly. Awesome that you tracked this down for us Dave I'd love to hit the rollers after the new goodies go under the hood.

The lot at my office downtown could be available any time on a weekend. It is a 50 vehicle lot at 805 - 5 ave s.w. Since i run the building there would be no issues with access.

As do I, can just pull on, and then pull off, don't even have to back up.

Find out if he uses an optical pickup for RPM. Thats the thing I liked about Martin's. No need for calibrating it for gears (which doesn't work well for autos unless they are in lockup anyway) and we'll always get a torque number. Sometime in September would be good for me. I'd like to put my dually on a dyno one of these days. If it were in Calgary, I could even put both my rigs on in one day.

Thats the same guy I talked to a few weeks ago. He was a little nervous putting diesels on the trailer and wanted to beef it up some. I guess he beefed it up.
That is a great dyno set up and the guy is pretty cool.

Dave, I think we should have a meet in Red Deer. Get a price to rent the dyno for a day. I'm sure we could put together a meet. I'm sure we could get the 30-40 trucks. Nothing else 5-6 guys could rent it, there enough of us wanting to dyno different set-ups
