Didn't that used to be a Co-op one or UFA or something? Either way, I need a slip tank and fill up there. Paid 1.359 yesterday in Devon!

FJ either bought into the Shell stations or something like that. The Shell cardlock in the SE foothills industrial park is a FJ as well.

Did any of you hear that the FJ diesel is a lower grade than others?

The Flying J here in B'ham sells ULSD and LSD, but only on the big truck pumps. You can look on their web site to find out if there are any in your area doing it. When you pull up on the big truck side, look up at the canopy. The lanes should ULSD will be labeled.

On edit, I just saw Ironbrew posted the link.

This is an interesting comment - many moons ago there was a huge thread on this site that was claiming the Flying J was heating fuel so you would get less. I think this was just speculation.

That being said, I fuel up at Flying J all the time - becauase its cheap. My uncle fuels up at different stations and also has used a lot of Flying J fuel - he claims that he gets way better milage if he satys away from Flying J. He also claims that Mohawk (of all places) has the best diesel.

I've thought of that, but I'm heading the opposite direction everyday. That would be an extra 40 km to fill up. Not sure I'd be saving enough to justify that every 5 days or so. Need that slip tank and then it will be worth it.

you know tate, you would probably have the same luck as me,, I would go and buy a slip tank, fill it up at, say 1 24, and then the price would drop to 115, guarenteed

Hey Kevin, if all it takes to drop the price of diesel is getting you a slip tank i think we could hook you up.
Im in Berlin Germany right now and noticed a few things, everything runs on diesel, chrysler 300's, caravans, jeeps like everything also noticed there are 3 types of diesel at all the stations, normal diesel, super diesel, and truck diesel. also premium gas here is 100 octane, just thought it was interesting.
